Background

NICE has recommended in the clinical guideline for urinary incontinence that Botulinum toxin A can be used to treat idiopathic detrusor overactivity in those willing and able to self-catheterise. Please note: NHS England is the responsible commissioner for treatment of incontinence associated with neurological conditions such as paraplegia or multiple sclerosis.
Use of Dysport ® or Xeomin ® brands for this indication is off-license
